SABSA Limited
SABSA Limited owns and is the governing body for the SABSA Method and the intellectual property embodied in it. SABSA Limited governs the use of SABSA intellectual property by qualified individual architects and consultants, and by licensed education providers internationally. The organisation does not provide commercial training or professional services directly but can, on a global basis, provide a co-ordination service to organisations seeking to obtain the benefits of SABSA, together with advice and assistance to enable organisations to check the claimed credentials and certifications of their SABSA providers.
SABSA Limited is led by its Executive Directors, the original principal authors of the method: John Sherwood, Andrew Clark, and David Lynas. Together with a world-wide network of leading security architects and experienced SABSA practitioners, they govern the on-going development of the method and provide international consistency through quality assurance over official
SABSA publications, tools and materials.

The SABSA Institute
The SABSA Institute is the division of SABSA Limited tasked with providing assurance to employers and user organisations through the on-going development and management of the SABSA Certification and Education programmes world-wide. The Institute is the
professional member body for Enterprise Security Architects of all specialisms and at all career levels.
It exists to provide user organisations with confidence and assurance that the professional architects and security professionals employed or contracted to design, deliver, and manage business security architectures fully understand 'best practice' Enterprise Security Architecture as delivered by the SABSA Method and are proficient in using it to an acceptable standard.
The SABSA Institute owns and governs all aspects of the SABSA Education and
Certification Framework including the
SABSA Career Development Roadmap, the
SABSA Education Programme (delivered through
Accredited Education Partners),
SABSA Chartered Architect Credentials, and
SABSA Chartered Examinations (set and marked by the SABSA Institute Testing Board).
Official SABSA education, training and certification programmes are authorised and licensed by the SABSA Institute and delivered exclusively by the SABSA Institute’s accredited education partners world wide. The SABSA Institute provides excellent partnering opportunities to world class, premium quality education providers in both the commercial training sector and in tertiary education.

SABSA Accredited Education Partners
Accredited education partners deliver all official SABSA training and host all SABSA certification examinations according to rigorous SABSA Institute policy and procedures for quality and consistency. All SABSA education modules are presented and facilitated by authorised SABSA Chartered Masters.
In some cases Partners also operate as local membership co-ordinators for the SABSA Institute in order to maintain regular direct contact with Chartered SABSA Architects in their region.
